With ten suites, Honour House provides short-term housing for the families of Canadian Armed Forces members and First Responders while supporting family members receiving treatment. After years of institutional use and modifications, the facility was extensively restored in 2010 to meet the historical context of the surrounding neighbourhood. New wood windows, cedar siding and roofing, interior floors, plaster details and millwork follow the original design. The house was upgraded to meet current fire, seismic and accessibility requirements and mechanically modernized to provide comfort and independent living for guests.
