Consisting of three 15- to 16-storey podiums atop a mid-rise street-wall that contains retail space, 100 Block West 2nd augments the existing vibrant and pedestrian-friendly public streetscape of the False Creek community. To encourage increased levels of social equity, livability, environmental responsibility and economic sustainability, this new emerging neighbourhood builds on the character of the surrounding community. It includes roof-top gardens and a child-care facility as well as a mews connection through the centre of the site to the False Creek waterfront. Staggering the spacing of the towers maximizes views while respecting those of adjacent properties.
