Completed in 1996, this large-scale expansion and addition provided 100,000 square feet of assembly, office and classroom space to the existing Langara College ‘B’ building through a new south wing. With academic offices above and classrooms below, the project breaks down a large program into three distinct, human-scale blocks, providing study nooks and casual social spaces. The addition extends along the south portion of the site, which faces a golf course, taking advantage of daylight and gorgeous views of the adjacent greens.
