The challenge of this year’s Popsicle Stick Build-off was to represent the Burj Al Arab—a luxury hotel in Dubai on an artificial island in the Persian Gulf. No small challenge!

After obtaining Planning Staff and Advisory Design Panel support for rezoning, Francl Architecture has begun design development for this mixed-use project at the northwest corner of Cambie Street and Marine Drive.
