Coordinating Architect for YVR Cooling Towers

in General

Francl Architecture is proud to have been retained by the YVR Airport Authority as the coordinating architect for a sizeable upgrade to the cooling system supporting the International Terminal.  We are currently in the concept validation phase of designing a structure that will house four new cooling towers and their associated service spaces at YVR. We understand the importance of creating a functional structure that can support an essential mechanical system, while simultaneously adding an attractive piece of architecture to the existing airport  landscape. The finished building will be located in close proximity to the entrance of the international terminal and will be seen by millions of visitors every year.
