Our office is teaming up with internationally renowned Japanese architect Shigeru Ban to build the world’s tallest hybrid timber building. Located at 1255 West Pender Street, this 19-storey mixed-use building will sit in between the existing Palladio and famous Evergreen Building (designed by the late Arthur Erickson). All wood will be locally sourced from British Columbia. The project is set for consideration by the City of Vancouver’s Development Permit Board mid-October.
Our team is also excited to be joined by the original landscape architect of the Evergreen Building, recent Margolese National Design award recipient Cornelia Hahn Oberlander.
