Proactive, amicable and fun, Xi thinks critically and seeks for inclusive design solutions. Born in China, trained in the US, she has gained educational and work experiences on both sides. Grown up in an architect’s family, she enjoys observing people’s reaction to space, and sees architecture as the infrastructure for human engagement.
One of Xi’s favorite objects is the interactive sculpture piece “The Climber” in Phoenix Children’s Museum. This steel dreamscape allows children and adults climb in, climb on and climb around. It creates a completely different experience every time.
