As COVID-19 continues to affect communities and families around the world, this is a difficult time for all of us. Francl Architecture is committed to protecting our employees, clients and communities, keeping them as safe as possible while we adjust to these challenging and changing circumstances.
Today, we are communicating the steps we have taken to address the situation:
We will continue to monitor federal and provincial authorities’ announcements and containment measures. We will adopt, adapt and communicate with our project leads, team members and entire staff the actions we are taking.
We have implemented a policy of video conferencing meetings for all team, client and consultant meetings. We have activated a firm wide implementation plan to enable working remotely from home, supported by our IT department to ensure the integrity and security of our servers and data.
To ensure a seamless delivery of the quality of services our clients expect, we are encouraging enhanced communication amongst our teams so that if a team member is quarantined, there will be additional resources available to cover the work for them.
Site Meeting & Inspections:
Our staff will make arrangements for site visits ahead of time to ensure the site is open and there are no restrictions. Once on site, they are encouraged to only engage with the Contractor’s authorized site representative and avoid any contact with other site staff and sub-contractors.
Should our employees suspect they are feeling ill, we have advised they cease in person interaction related to their work duties until either (1) a healthcare provider examines them and confirms that they do not have COVID-19, or (2) a healthcare provider diagnoses them with COVID-19 and then clears them to return to work after the quarantined period.
Your patience and understanding as we adapt our business to serve you is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about the steps we are taking, feel free to reach out to your Francl Architecture team at any time.
