Francl Architecture celebrates 30 years with Francl Architecture Scholarship

in General

On August 8, 1988, Walter Francl established Francl Architecture with the belief that buildings are for people. 30 years later, we are proud to say that this core belief about the contribution of architecture to our community has remained unchanged.

The principle of inclusion and collaboration is evident in the numerous projects we have completed with our clients and partners. Our clients and staff are the reason for our success, enabling us to push the pursuit of complex challenges and problem solving to enhance Vancouver’s urban environment.

To celebrate this milestone, we have established the Francl Architecture Scholarship at UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA). Fostering support for our community is important to us, and we hope that this contribution positively impacts the lives and careers of the scholarship’s beneficiaries.

Many things have changed since our beginnings, but the motivations, vision, and purpose that propel us remain the same. We look forward to productive ongoing relationships with our clients and partners, and continued success in the city we love.
