Serving the Wesbrook neighbourhood at the University of British Columbia’s Point Grey campus this new 49 space child care facility is a welcome addition to the Francl Architecture designed Wesbrook Community Centre. Three bright individual age cohorts identified by the use of colour are cohesively grouped under a gentle curved roof supported by wood beams. The outdoor play areas are nestled within a copse of trees retained from the original forested site. This amenity to the community will provide families safe and engaging child care for generations.
