The Laureates is a new residential development composed of a high rise and low-rise building in Wesbrook Village at the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus. The project responds to the site’s unique context with a strong emphasis on creating a place that embraces the natural environment and growing community of the Wesbrook Village.
The two buildings, a high-rise of 21 storeys and a low-rise split between four and five storeys in height sit on the northern edge of the site following the existing developments along Birney Avenue. They are connected by a covered walkway between their north facing lobbies, allowing the southern portion of the site to remain open to create a continuous natural landscape that flows around the buildings.
The development has achieved REAP Gold status.
