With a background in industrial design, Yang always brings her curiosity and passion to every project. She has expertise in both 2D graphics and 3D spaces, and is inspired by the interaction of humans with different built environments and the aesthetic qualities of materials and details.
Her diverse interests include model making, woodworking, and experimenting with 3D printing and laser cutting; using her talents to create custom furniture and ceramics.
Yang’s favourite design object is the Arita-Yaki dishware, a type of porcelain traditionally produced in the town of Arita, Japan. The carefully crafted pieces showcase an exquisite balance of colors and an unparalleled level of artisanship, making them a true icon of Japanese porcelain history.
