Passionate, artistic and curious, Laura has been captivated by architecture and interior design since childhood. With a master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture from the University of Turin, Italy, she has worked on a range of building typologies. She loves going through all the project phases and seeing how a project can transform from the very first sketch to completion. Laura has a passion for modern European architecture but she’s always been curious and fascinated by wood construction and North American design, so she decided to move to Vancouver to learn more about it.
Laura loves being in contact with nature, and in her spare time you can find hiking or skiing on the mountains.
Laura’s favourite design object is the Atollo Lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, one of the best-known symbols of Italian design worldwide. The geometric shapes that compose it – cylinder, cone, and hemisphere – have resulted in a product that is decorative and essential at the same time. A luminous sculpture from which nothing can be removed AND to which nothing can be added.
