Jozef Kelbel

Jozef Kelbel joined FA in 2010 and became Senior Associate in 2022. He has over 25 years of experience working on a variety of mixed-use, residential, office, community and healthcare projects in Canada and Europe. As Project Lead/ Designer, Jozef has worked on many notable FA’s projects, including the Residences at West, the Northwest in Vancouver, Brentwood 1B and Brentwood 2 in Burnaby. He is currently leading Plaza of Nations Phase 1, a mixed-use redevelopment of the former BC Pavilion site for Expo ’86, in the Northeast False Creek area, in downtown Vancouver. Jozef studied Architecture at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and at the Ecole d’Architecture de Lyon. His passion for architecture and design stems from his overall interest in art and technologies shaping the world around us.
