The complex houses three ice sheets that support a wide range of ice sports, including hockey, sledge hockey, and figure skating. The ice infrastructure is also designed to accommodate non-ice uses such as lacrosse, basketball, and trade shows, allowing the facility to serve as a flexible, year-round venue.
Beyond the ice arenas, the building includes spectator seating and viewing areas, along with a comprehensive suite of fitness amenities, including a gym, fitness studios, indoor cycling, and a café. Supporting spaces include physiotherapy facilities, an ice plant and resurfacing areas, storage, and administrative offices.
The facility has achieved Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Gold certification, with a score of 81%. Universal accessibility is embedded throughout the design, including fully accessible washrooms and change rooms designed to sledge hockey standards, and mirrored layouts to support users with hemiplegia.
