Driven, collaborative, and sophisticated. Marta’s passion for international design, languages, and world culture helps her capture the essence of a project and to understand its interconnections. Regularly looking at the bigger picture, her designs aim to highlight the unique features of their immediate environment and, in this way, strengthen the identity of the place.
The Buckminster Fuller Tensegrity structures are Marta's favourite. These structures use compression and tension forces in their purest form to create elegant, interconnected, and efficient designs. A version of this concept, biotensegrity, applies to the way bones, connective tissue, and muscles work. This is an example of how the sciences can be used to further design.
