For him, architecture is more about curating experiences and relationships between form, light, material, and everyday life. He is drawn to the front end of design, where narratives take shape, massing is tested, and identity begins to emerge, while remaining closely engaged in the pragmatic realities of detailing and constructability. Informed by his experience across Canada, Asia, and the Middle East, Zaid brings a global lens to local place-making, contributing to projects ranging from mixed-use residential to public institutions and Indigenous community spaces. He is most energized when ideas move from sketch to reality, when vision becomes something people can walk through, inhabit, and make their own.
